Rebecca’s legal journey began as a Legal Secretary alongside University with a passion to make a difference for people who require legal services. Joining Kidwells in 2009, Rebecca Hardy became a Graduate in the Employment Department. With a drive to achieve she began a Paralegal role in 2010. Soon after she qualified as a Graduate Member of Chartered Legal Executives. In April 2013 Rebecca became the Head of Client HR and in April 2014 she became Director.
Alongside achieving a degree at Gloucester University she was dedicating the rest of her time to gain practical experience. After undertaking Paralegal experience she completed her exams to become an Associate member of CILEX. Thereafter she became a graduate member specialising in Employment Law whilst gaining experience in Immigration and Crime also. Once Rebecca got a feel for life in actually practicing law she decided to move away from the traditional LPC & Training contract route and opted for a more vocational route. Real life experience, dedication and application fared far more valuable and important than a paper confirming a qualification.
As a Business Development Manager, Rebecca is a force to be reckoned with. She effectively manages her responsibilities and duties whilst still pursuing work in Employment, Immigration and Crime.
Swimming and badminton are two activities she regularly enjoys to take part in outside of work. Rebecca also volunteers at her sister’s Equine Clothing Company for Horse Events and Trade Stands. This can involve working on anything from product development to import/export duties.
